there's only so much i'm prepared for, you can't expect me to fly

have you ever just had a semester where there was nothing redeeming about any of your classes? they are just consistently disappointing and make you pray for death on a daily basis? that's where i am right about now. except for the death part, i'm not that over-dramatic.

but seriously though, this semester has blown, and from what i hear it's blown for mostly everyone else too. my classes are absolutely terrible and that just depresses me. they're completely pointless and worthless but i have to take every single one of them for my major or minor. bleck. hopefully next semester is better, although i know that i'm going to have a professor who just cannot make her classes worthwhile. i wish i could teach certain professors how to make students care about their classes.

but this semester is almost over, thank god. by tuesday i will be done with both of my semester-long group projects so i can stop having all these group meetings. woo!

and me and the roommates are living where we wanted to live next year. and while it's most likely going to be ridiculously loud and generally obnoxious, hopefully it will be a good way to spend our senior years.

and i'm currently feeling pretty good about myself because a tarot card reader i went to yesterday said some pretty awesome things about my future. i don't actually believe in that kind of stuff, but dude, when someone calls you intelligent and says that you'll be very powerful and have a "platinum life" it just kind of makes you feel good. it's one of those things that i just want to believe because it makes me feel better, even though i think "destiny" is bullshit.

oh and my dance recital was yesterday and i think we actually pulled it off. i'm glad it's finally over though because i cannot focus the week before a dance recital. i can't focus now though either... so maybe it wasn't entirely the dance recital's fault. but whatever, i'm just glad it's over.

i can't wait for summer.

Wait now tell me that this isn't over, hang on just long enough

i have about 15 minutes before i have to leave for class, so since that's clearly not enough time to do anything else i think i'll blog something.

here are some pictures from awesome spring break road trip. B, Na, and me had a kick ass time in the beautiful cities of boston and providence (with numerous pit-stops in a bunch of other places).

that was a couple of weeks ago now though. now i'm back at school and i have three group projects going on at once and i'm trying to get an internship for the summer. welcome back to real life, self!

yes, i just spoke to myself on my own blog. i'm probably losing it.

and your past times consisted of the strange

so i'm back at school after an entertaining, frustrating, boring, calming, and much needed winter break. we had a wonderful christmas in the new house and we watched a ton of movies on the new and huge tv. so that was pretty sweet.

it was nice to be home just spending my days in the house adjusting to everything. i think i know where everything in the kitchen belongs now, which is great because i feel like such a n00b when i come home and have no idea where anything goes. i wish my mom had been home more since i'm used to spending more time with her on breaks and i know she didnt think she saw enough of me. and i wish i had seen more of my high school friends, but that's something that always happens over breaks so i guess i cant act surprised.

but H came home from france after 7 months and it was great to see her! i missed her a lot.

anyway, new semester already. my classes this time are all 300s:

Corporate Finance I
Marketing Research
Integrated Marketing Communications
Fundamentals of International Business

i'm not sure if i mentioned here that i changed my minor to international business, but so far i'm ecstatic that i did because it means this is my first semester in a long time that i dont have any econ classes! woo. it just wasnt for me, as it turns out, which i'm glad i realized early enough.

and now i'm at that awkward place in the semester where i should be doing work but i cant focus yet because it's too early... so i'm just letting it build up.

fun fact for this semester: every single one of my professors have an accent. korean, chinese, bulgarian, and... idk where he's from but he's attractive and i think hispanic. it makes understanding them all a little difficult. but i think most of them are good professors.

anyway... let's just hope this semester turns out ok.

to summarize some stuff that i remember from my last blog: stressful turkey presentation, finals, pretty new phone, christmas, first party in my house, new years 2010, jello, 3 nights of floor-sleeping, john lennon, de-lovely and popcorn balls, mini karaoke, 7 hour dinner trip!, in the heights, bookshelves
